Ibi Village is located 140 km from the center of Kinshasa, in the municipality of Maluku, between the Lufimi (East) and Duale (West) rivers. Ibi Village is 220 km² big and is part of the Bateke plateau. It is accessible by Route Nationale 1.
Ibi Village is located in the heart of a landscape which, following the destruction of primary forests, today consists of more than 80% of shrub savannas with very poor soil.
The activities developed in Ibi Village have a positive impact on a population of more than 10,000 inhabitants of the Mbankana region (employment, education, local commerce, etc.).
